Since 2012 I have completed several British long distance hikes including the Pennine Way (see list below). You will find my trail trip reports listed with the most recent first. All my trails are dedicated to people who have formed part of my life. I enjoy organising my own schedules and places to stay, but it gradually became apparent that the ability to wild camp would stop me being tied to a schedule each day, and reduce the overall costs of my trail hiking, so I determined to learn how to do this.
In this section you can read about this shift in approach on my trails – from going with the flow on Hadrian’s Wall, slackpacking on the Dales Way, campsite backpacking on the Pennine Way to wild camping on the Berwickshire Coastal Path. As well as kit lists, I have added links to my data sheets to some posts in this section (although they come with a warning that some information may be out of date). I hope these will be helpful to anyone planning to do the walks themselves.

Long Distance Trails Playlist
I started recording my walks on video in 2012 to share the beauty of the walks with others. Above is a link to a playlist of my trails or long distance walks. If you would like to support me, feature in my content or have a say in my plans, please take a look at my Supporting Me page.
